Research and DevelopmentOur software package, VelocityManager, leads the industry through its cutting edge technology in both velocity modelling and depth conversion. To maintain our standards, we continually undertake research and software development to meet the ever increasing expectations for high standards in accuracy in solving complex problems. CPS has pioneered the development of innovative software technologies, and interpretation techniques, for the minimisation of uncertainty in the depth conversion of seismic time maps. CPS is currently involved in international-scale projects aimed at investigating, uncertainty in field developments which include data from many hundreds of deviated and horizontal wells, and reconciling this data with the time seismic interpretation. Proprietary software technologies support sophisticated and innovative techniques in identifying and removing data discrepancies during the preliminary stages of the data integration and velocity modelling stages.
